Lea

According to the ID card Lea was born in 2008. She was used for breeding. The Romanian animal welfare operated her Mammo tumors and she finally came to the animal shelter Muhmenthaler. http://tiervermittlungen.ch/
Lea is very nice, also to the cats. She never barks, follows me everywhere and is my first dog who can “correctly” eat from a fork 🙂

Strella und Dustin

Strella and Dustin came to us from the animal shelter Muhmenthaler. Both came from an animal shelter in Bucharest.

Dustin, Jg. ca 2008 , was a very friendly “old boy”. Sometimes a little stubborn – just sat down when he didn’t feel like walking. It was not possible to retrieve it, but at least he sat and waited :-). He was with us almost five years.
Strella was a lively lady Jg. about 2015, but probably 1-2 years older. Her face had a “permanent eyeliner makeup” 🙂 – she was very docile. Very sad, she fell ill with myasthenia gravis with paralysis on the hind legs and on the esophagus (she got pneumonia) unfortunately the medicines did not help. Strella was with us for 4. 5 years

Pipo und Chicco

Pipo was also from Bucharest (Ioana, facbbok)

Pipo was a real “heartbreaker”, he became 14 1/2 years old.
Chicco came to us from a local home , the most faithful dog we ever had –
Chicco was with us for 6 years and became 14

Senta

Senta we got in puppy age from a nearby farm, she was a great family member with stubborn attachment. Sometimes she could break out and went on a “expedition” – never open on the street, always on secret paths – presumably she had “check out” the places where cats are fed. Senta became 13 1/2 years

Cat’s

All of our cats were strays or born in our hayloft.

Carlotta & Harry got hit when commuter traffic was routed through our village due to construction work. Moritz was very freedom-loving – so he unfortunately stayed away more and more often and at some point did not come home at all.

Tom joined us a little later, he regularly comes along on the dog walk, he is cautious but very curious – he doesn’t have much respect for the dogs and he is really only afraid of that mean “neighbourhood bulli” from next door 🙂
