Left Side
First cut out the thresholds with the 1mm cutting disc
In the second step, remove the remnants with a wood chisel (drill out the welding points where possible)

Right Side
Here also first with the cutting disc, then with the wood chisel
Very annoying, the used foam, it has certainly shortened the life of many Estafettes ๐

Sliding Door Backdrop
For replacing the thresholds, in a normal case the backdrop is probably not removed – at least there is a cut-out on the new threshold sheet which indicate this. Probably the new threshold was just “sizzled” on top of the old one. But I didn’t want to ๐ – and in order to reconstruct the corner it was necessary to remove the backdrop.
The welding point drill has helped a lot here

Right Front Corner
The belt attachment once already has been welded
Carefully remove the rust, piece by piece, after the whole corner was exposed, I put the lift arm further inward for safety ๐

Right Front Fender
The dent in the fender is very difficult to bulge out, you can not reach it from behind. Luckily, I still had a fender in my fundus that I was able to detach from a slaughter vehicle.
After cutting it into form and removing the remainng old underfloor protection, it could be used as a template.
During “butt” welding in (points with the TIG device, lowest level) you can adjust well with hammer and hand anvil – so that practically no heels are noticeable. Because the material is a bit rusty it ould not be welded without the addition of material, there were also some fire holes ๐
