Louise came to us in Spring 2019. She was build 1972 and did run around 160’000 Km’s. First she was in the service of an bakery – after that, 1977, she was bought by the previous owner and was transformed into a red painted camping car .

The last 20 years – before she came to us – she was stored in a dry barn. Louise mastered the years in well condition – not only because her cavity wax treatment.
However, there was some things to be repaired
At the beginning there was nearly no compression and also no oil pressure.
The braking system had to be overhauled, the front wheel brake cylinders had to be honed and the cylinders had to be renewed with sealing sleeves, new break tubes was made of Kunifer and had to be mounted, the main brake cylinder had to be disassembled and cleaned and renewed with a repair set. The Master-Vac servo unit needed only a clean and a paint
For the rear wheel brake cylinders a repair was not worth it and have been renewed

Despite cavity treatment, there were some rust located in the wheel boxes and on the left underbody truss. The exhaust system was sandblasted and painted together with the brake drums and weights in the rear. The tank had to be washed out and painted and the sensor had to be changed. In the cabin and on the autobody some paint repairs were needed.
In addition, we have decided to retrofit the oricinal cooler against the large one with electric fan from the successor model, plus we installed the electronic ignition from “123 Ignition”

The name “Louise” she’s got from the previous owner .
